The problem with most backup programs is they are not in real time. You have to set a time to backup. I get the same thing using Vista and another internal hard drive. Now if you were to develope a program that did it in real time I would go for it. It would mimic everything you do while your doing it to a remote server. I would suggest giving a look see to Sugarsync. I purchased it as a Christmas present. The person I got it for is heavy into books and publishing for a Genealogy society. It is great and you don't have to set a time. They type a document on the laptop and at home turn on the desktop. The document will be duplicated to the desktop plus a remote server. There is more but it's worth looking at.
